Stridr Terms of Service
Stridr is a personal motivation app. By using it, you agree to these terms — written in plain language on purpose.
The service
Stridr generates personalized motivational content and, if you enable it, reads on-device signals (health, calendar, weather) to time and shape that content. It is provided as-is, without warranties. It is not medical, nutritional, or mental-health advice, and it is not a crisis service.
Backup text messages
If you designate a backup, Stridr sends that person text messages on your behalf — but only after they explicitly accept the role via a web link (opt-in required; no messages are ever sent before acceptance). Frequency is capped at one message per week per recipient. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Mobile numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Program: Stridr Backup Notifications — support request and goal-update messages sent to contacts who opt in as a user's backup.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies; maximum one message per week per recipient.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out: You can cancel at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status and no further messages will be sent.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you share. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes your data from our servers.
Acceptable use
Do not use Stridr to harass anyone (including backups), to send unlawful content, or to probe or disrupt the service.
Changes
If these terms change materially, we will update this page and the effective date.
